Awesome.

i grew up during the entire shoegazing movement. from its incarnation to its bittersweet end. unfortunately like with all things, you don't know what you got til' it's gone. all those bands put out 2 or 4 amazing fucking albums save for a select few who continued to push the envelope. most of them it seemed just wanted to take different avenues. i will say though that bands today don't know how to turn the gain or volume on their amp heads past 4...i honestly seriously just DONT GET IT. sucks

All of you Catherine Wheel and shoegazing fans, hear me! we need to start to share this rare and glorious sound to the rest of the world! seriously, it's a fucking shame that these guys are not as famous as Muse, green day, metallica, iron maiden or AC/DC! so let’s start new shoegazing wave! share and tips this to anyone who like good and loud guitars with awesome lyrics! who is with me? Spread the word!

STUNNING!

One of the most beautiful songs ever written for sure. But let us not forget the sister tune to Black Metallic, that being "Indigo Is Blue" also from the album "Ferment" Unfortunately it is not represented on YouTube. Shame.

Rob released a solo album and has been touring the states for about a year. He also plays a few Catherine Wheel songs, such as this example. Now he's touring with a full band (not the original Catherine Wheel) and continues to play a similar set. 2/3rd solo, 1/3 catherine wheel
