I finally got my hands on this game, thanks to ChimpMaster657.
Anyways, it turns out that everyone was totally true about Maria, she's very broken. She can tear through enemies like they're nothing, while Richter struggles to even combat fleamen =\
She's got doves, and they hit multiple times, making them stronger than Richter's whip, and her subweapons are damaging to a very high amount. She can basically take out bosses like they're nothing, because of her Item Crushes, which are not only huge, but potent as well. On the previous stage, I used her fire bird item crush, and it wiped out almost half the wolf man's health. There's more than that too, but that move alone is pretty damaging.

Bad computer and bad recording lag. Thankfully I fix this in some of my later videos of the game.
