Saint-Martin de Ré est une commune de l'île de Ré qui fut fortifiée au XVIIème siècle par Vauban pour la protéger des attaques anglaises.
L'île de Ré se trouve dans l'Océan Atlantique au large de La Rochelle - Charente Maritime - 17

This town located on the Ré island on the Atlantic was fortified during the 17th century against english attacks.
