@Paneeks1960 I would have loved to have seen Heart back in 76. I love the 70's era of Heart. They put out some great songs then. Plus to see Dave Mason afterwards, KILLER !! That venue you are talking about sounds like the Cal Expo Ampitheater here. A outdoor venue and it was just a big dirt field, but some great shows there as well. It closed in the late 90's. To bad it was a dump, but a fun place.

Nice collection Gil and really well labeled! I have a couple of dozen and am inspired to revisit them and create some cases after watching this. Do you have a favorite? When I get them, I have grand ambitions of creating nice artwork, big cases, etc. Then reality sets in and in paper sleeves they sit (similar to the few you had on the side). I'll shoot you a PM in a few. Thanks for sharing, awesome collection! We live, breathe, and sweat music! - Lj

I saw Heart the tour after that 76 one you have. I actually saw heart as a backup band to Dave Mason at the old Cape Cod Coliseum in 1977. That place was a general admission sweat box but what great shows I saw there from 1975 onto about 1985. I saw Van Halen, Iron Maiden. J Geils, Heart/Dave Mason, Frampton doing Frampton Comes Alive, Lynyrd Skynyrd {original band} , Talking Heads, The Clash and Aerosmith that I can remember there. A big dirt parking lot party of a time~

Very cool man that men at work concert in Ontario Canada is about 15 minutes from me . I recently watched the dvd from zeppelin the song remains the same . Such an awesome experience . you learn so much about the band by watching them , rather than just playing the record . Cool collection you got going!

@HardRockRecords Thanks bro. Men At Work was a very good live band. They were best known for funny videos, but live they sounded good. I have 2 Zeppelin dvd boots that are killer. Some of the footage was used on the offical live dvd that came out a few years back. It's always great to find the bands that can bring it live !!

man I love concert DVDs! Your collection is awesome. I have never really found a way to acquire them the way I would like. It's like going to a concert only with a better view, often better sound and you can return anytime you like. I love that VH1 series "Classic Albums." That has some great episodes. You just gave me some ideas. David Lee Roth's autobiography is seriously fun. He has donated lots of time & money to Latin American kids' charities. The Scorpions are one of my guilty pleasures.

@TheZeekgeek1 The concert films out now on Blu-Ray sound incredible. It sounds better on the surround sound then it does being there. I have quite of few of the Classic ALbum videos and I love watching them. I was surprised on how well DLR speaks spanish. Did not know that about him. The Scorps were killer back in the day. Thanks for watching !!

A fascinating look at your live DVD collection. I was just going to ask you if you had Pink Floyd's February 24, 1980 show from Nassau Coliseum. I saw the very first night of the New York dates. Thanks for the shout-out on the Live Aid Documentary that you sent to me. I cannot believe how many of the tours that I saw from your collection. Here is a list of the bands/tours you mentioned that I saw:
VH 'Hide Your Sheep Tour 1983, U2, Gabriel and Police to name a few. Killer collection~

@Paneeks1960 I'm so jealous of the shows you have seen. I knew there had to be a few that you have seen from my collection. All those bands you mentioned, the early 80's was the best time to see them. They were all at their best at that time. I wish I was born about 10 years earlier so I could have seen them myself. At least I have the concert dvds to watch. Thanks for watching and your awesome comments Rob !!
