My name is Camryn Boci and I'm dealing with a great loss. My school principal passed away yesterday.
Dr. Barry Bowe of Northwest School of the Arts.
Dr. Bowe's death will be a profound loss, I can hear his voice singing in my ears, "Northwest is simply the Best".
He was my Principal, Friend, Teacher, and Family.
Northwest is such a loving community -- let us provide each other with that kind of solace in the days ahead.

I, too, am saddened by his loss. Employers far too frequently forget they're dealing with human beings with feelings, insecurities, and emotions even if their level might lead one to believe that the conquered those emotions. Zero tolerance policies have no place in eduction, either at the student level or at the top. Dr. Bowe was an irreplaceable inspiration who also wrote my recommendation to substitute teach so that I could decide if I wanted to teach further at the grades 6-12 levels.
