Creating A Hit: 8 Hour Challenge

A challenge that I proposed to friend and fellow musician Dan Bennett (known to most as Transit). The idea was to document the creation of a "Top 40" style song from conception to completion.... all in 8 hours.

no there isn't. check out the song and video i made in about 5 hours.. and i was stoned as shit. trent backstone - eye of the porcupine. making funny music is easy... it takes balls to get serious and take the time. news flash - anybody can do this.. technology today is different for music than it was even 5 years ago. just watch my video.. So very true. Really says something about the music industry and its pathetic 'Top 40'. Simple, catchy beat. Melodic (autotuned) pre-chorus. Repeated word/phrase in chorus so the idiotic fans can sing along. Pathetic.
