I hate closed source vendor lock-ins, no matter who it is. Apple does not respect my intelligence or my liberty. Buying a Mac is tyranny in my opinion. I am consistent. I hate both Apple and Microsoft because they are both jerks. Apple II was great. When Apple ditched the II, they were never the same again. I use a PC. I don't like it, I just put up with it. I also use Linux. It is not great, either. I struggle to config thigns, but when I solve things, I feel great.

@Gilden00 Sorry, but then you bought no pc but some shit. I have a 10 year old computer a t home, that still works and i never had to spend money for it. I also have a 5 year old pc where barely had problems and a 4 year old notebook (windows) form a company that dont even exist anymore and it still works like on the first day. Sure i am a bit of an apple hater, but i would tell the truth if they really would be better. Fact: pc is way cheaper with better components ad you can replace them

I can get a pc for $700.00 and it has about 4 gb of RAM and a 400 gb hard drive. When you say they get viruses you know you are talking about Windows XP. Windows 7 is so easy to use. The mac is a disgrace on a computer.

The only reason to be "loyal to a company" usually involves a paycheck going your way over a period of at least 10 years.
