Bleach: Shattered Blade -- Rangiku Matsumoto

Uh-oh, seems Rangiku's been hitting the sauce lately...must be after the crushing defeat she received from Gin. It must be hard, having a heavily-implied offscreen relationship and not being able to talk about it to anyone...because Tite Kubo hasn't written it yet, or at least not had it published. You can't fight the Kubo, that's for sure.

Speaking of crushing, here we have Izuru Kira...his Wabisuke will double the weight of whatever it cuts...or slashes, I guess? I mean, he doesn't really "cut" an enemy's weapon, but the effect still happens. But Matsumoto's...assets...already seem to be more than her poor Karakura High uniform can support...there's no way! It can't take the strain!

More seriously, I have to say right here and now, I'm also not a fan of Rangiku...she's got a vague connection with Gin that has yet to be explained in any meaningful way, and beyond that, she's got fanservice. Lots and lots of fanservice...and like her captain, she tends to show up more than necessary, but unlike her captain, she's pretty much always less than effective.

Her sword is vaguely established to turn into ash that she can direct for both offensive and defensive purposes. In this game, she has a rather strong homing projectile that hits for decent enough damage up to three times (or if blocked, creates considerable difference between the user and the victim) and a very long range thrust attack that has quite an impressive reach to say the least.

It seems to be in his style of swordsmanship to kiai with the name of the sponsor! SEGA! (See ya! Say, yah! SEGAAAA!)

You can hear it every time he does that particular vertical critical strike, which in fact seems to be the one the critical clash rock-paper-scissors uses for a vertical input.

The only other video game character I've known to yell "SEGA!" like this has been Yoshimitsu...but isn't he supposed to be yelling "NAMCO!" instead?

@narutofreakranger1 Sorry if you feel misled, but the "SEGA" and "Bleach Wii" lines heard in my videos come from the sound test and were only spliced in afterwards by the magic of video editing. I felt that was more interesting than the regular samples used by menu guides, and the lines were too amusing to leave out.

I just have to wonder why they're clearly in the game, but go unused for their obvious applications.
