  • so is your comment.

the man is just a very great player !

  • The reasons its a bit out is cos its Jerry Reeds guitar from the 70's lol. Nice cutaway, Jerry probably did it with a hacksaw.

  • The tuning issues with the guitar are overcome by flawless technique. Pleasure to watch it and listen to it.

  • Probably the intonation on the guitar...not his playing/tuning ability. Even more likely, he is playing a guitar he has never played before.

But, if that is your only criticism of the best fingerstyle guitarist in the world...he will be pleased.

  • the guitar high notes are out of tune

  • Aside from the immortal Chet , Richard Smith is probably the technically best fingerstyle player around today...his ability to play an enormous variety of tunes at the highest level is truly amazing..

  • Mel's guitar couldn't have sounded better right there. Thank you...al

  • Great struttin' sound on that Jerry tune !!!!

  • Richard, one of the best.

    Martin

  • Richard sounded better than ever at this years CAAS (08) as evidenced by this beautiful version of Struttin.
