The tuning issues with the guitar are overcome by flawless technique. Pleasure to watch it and listen to it.

Probably the intonation on the guitar...not his playing/tuning ability. Even more likely, he is playing a guitar he has never played before.
But, if that is your only criticism of the best fingerstyle guitarist in the world...he will be pleased.

Aside from the immortal Chet , Richard Smith is probably the technically best fingerstyle player around today...his ability to play an enormous variety of tunes at the highest level is truly amazing..

The reasons its a bit out is cos its Jerry Reeds guitar from the 70's lol. Nice cutaway, Jerry probably did it with a hacksaw.
