What ceremonial are you using? It seems fairly Roman-based. It's not American Missal; is it English or Anglican missal?

@21061984t The texts are actually pretty different. Don't let the looks trick you.
-
Not that much different from the English Novus Ordo.

Is there so many similarity between catholic Missale Romanum (1962) and anglican Book of Common Prayer? It seems to me that this is a catholic traditional mass said in English.

I love this service and know it by heart. I don't belong to a church or go to church anymore. I have experienced some very unhappy situations mostly involving inflexible structure and the passing of judgments-supported the church-which I believe are God's business not ours. I stay away by choice, now. But this warms my soul and brings me closer to the Lord. I searched the net to find it and I'm glad I did. Just one suggestion. Audio quality could be improved. It's a little hard to understand.

@stamman2 No, little boy, this does not "belong to an age that is now long gone." If you've nothing more insightful that that to offer, please assume an attitude of respectful silence. You aren't required to love Sacred Tradition, but I will thank you not to dismiss it with smart alecky rhetoric and thereby give offence to those of us to do.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This is the way the it is suppose to be.
I was confirmed in 1974 and the 1928 prayer book "spoke" to me. As I look around in my church today, it seems like as time passes less and less of the real old "traditional" ways are being lost.
I always make the sign of the cross at the Scantus bells....I'm the only one? Why?
What has happened to our church?

@B4mytyme Yes, todays' traditions are much better, you know the one where the minister is the center of attention...not those old out of date traditions, you know the ones where Christ is the center and not the individual offering the Mass.

Wow that's fast... he must want to go watch a Sunday afternoon college football game. This was something Martin Luther complained about while visiting Rome... priests who love to get through it very, very quickly.
Kevin thanks.
