@godsgrl444 You know what it is? I just watched it and it's an adventure, it's something so different from what we usually experience. This is the movie that made me really want to visit Japan, it's like a whole different world. There is no real plot. It's basically a movie about experiences of two people in Japan from a foreign perspective. Just imagine yourself in an environment completely alien to you. Yeah the cinematography was beautiful. If you liked this movie check out Before Sunrise.

@jakekarlson Ah come on, man, if Kevin saw those comments, and realized that nobody is saying this song is a rip off of anything, or anything like that, and also realized that people were comparing him to one of the greatest song writers in history, he would be happy. Who wouldn't? This song does have a Lennon-y dreamy, psychedelic feel. It's a beautiful song, it really is.
On a side note, this movie changed my life. Pure melancholic, nostalgia inducing radness. God damn, favorite movie ever.

I agree. So many of my friends and family don't understand why I like it so much. They say it has no plot. But there's something in it that feels so incredibly heart wrenching you know? The visuals, music and script along with the actors are all in sink and it really paints that picture of meeting someone and even though you know you'll never meet again just knowing that for someone reason that person made an imprint on you. Its not for everyone, but the artist in me really loves it.

The Lost in Translation soundtrack puts me in a state between sleep and awake. Between day and night.
Sunsets at twilight, casting a midsummer glow across a warm, summer city. Beautiful loneliness and peace.
