MOVIE: Ironton is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in the San Juan Mountains outside Ouray and Silverton. It's very peaceful and easy to imagine life back in the 1800s, when it first became a busy mining town. Now all that's left is a few decaying structures and groves of aspen...

@supdude131 Hey thanks so much..i love Ironton! My fave place too. I spend a ridiculous amount of time poking around there, taking photos...I must have a thousand photos of the same buildings, but I still manage to take photos every time I go!

just incredible! All of your videos... I used to live outside of Sacramento, CA and spent all my time in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Now that I'm in Texas, seeing your videos helps to bring back those memories! This Canon you are filming with is amazing... you wouldn't be thinking about selling some of your HD videos, would you??? I too would love to see this without the compression!!! I look forward to your next offering...

To be honest, I was in the process of creating a DVD with my videos to sell and found out I need a filming permit to film with the intent to sell. Trouble is...the permit is $200 a day! Still trying to figure out how to accomplish what I want and not break all kinds of laws. LOL. Thanks for watching, please subscribe if you haven't already and I'll keep everyone updated on creating a DVD!

Thank you so much for your comments. You should see this footage on my HDTV! It's ridiculously sharp and vivid; just like you're there. The Canon HV20 is amazing.
