  • why do people feel the need to say shit like "too many false casts" who cares how many times he false cast. so ridiculous. half the fly fishing videos on you tube are self proclaimed pros saying how you should do it. Ohhhhh terrible loops, too many false casts, why you throwing a streamer with a 4wt, saun juan worm doesnt count its not a real fly, people are ridiculous. I agree with not keeping fish out of water so long though.

  • Out of the water for over a MINUTE, that was dead for sure at the 30 second mark.....

Side note, wasn't close to 30...more like 22

  • What a bunch of fucking losers this guys are....no sporting spirit at all!!!! espero el guia no halla sido chileno porque, sin ningun respeto por esa hermosa trucha, valis callampa.... if you do something like this here england and not killing the fish after, even with a stockie they wouldnt let you in the fisherie anymore.....

  • @greaseline Agreed! Keep em' in the water!! He probably went belly up after this session.

  • Nice fish, stupid fisherman (and guide). Painful to watch. Nice work having it bonk it's head on the rock trying to get back to O2 on it's gills!

  • Def not 30"

  • Nice catch, but no respect for the fish!

  • Nice fish in a small setting, but it was held out of water for way too long. That was ridiculous.

In pictures, fish treated like that look dazed and ko'd, with their eyes bugging straight out. The 'dead eye'.

Any good fisherman keeps their fish underwater with the gills, not just head, submerged, and only lifts the fish out for a brief second when the photographer is completely ready.

Then they look better, with a fresh, downturned eye and a shiny coat of dripping water, not of dull slime.

  • NIce work I am heading to patagonia soon and am intrested in self guided on the fly any ideas ? Im a kiwi living in hawaii , Thanks, again nicely done
