@racketball75 I think you need to read my comment again, as you got it completely wrong. I am saying those that are fraudently claiming, or attempting to claim need to be weeded out so the genuine claimants get more money. I dont know why you are trying to play politics on such a common sense issue.

@TerryAshfields I do sympathise with you, and I recommend you read The Spartacus Report which is co-authored by the very woman herself, and is very interesting reading.

The medicals are a complete joke, and this is an issue with widespread agreement among genuinely sick and disabled people.

As for DLA, Maria Miller didn't even bother to reassure disabled people and was very evasive with her answers which suggest the Coalition is not telling the truth to disabled people.

@block1385 Is it really? Or is it the fact that you are simply prejudice towards genuinely ill and disabled benefit claimants? This 75% figure has already been discredited as wholly unreliable, and for you to make this sort of comment is the last thing these people need to be hearing at the moment.

The Tories are fiddling the figures on DLA to justify the 20% cut to this benefit, and it seems you need to check you facts before you decide to make unsubstaniated claims towards others.

I think the fraud rate is higher than 75%. On the health questionnaires provided that I have dealt with, its quite obvious there is an attempt to de-fraud the system, which is primarly harmful to the genuine people who need the benefit, and also to the tax payer.

Sick people are being harrassed and made even sicker by the stress of worrying about whther they will have food or shelter, and people like my neighbour who has naff all wrong with him is on DLA. The medical is a joke. If you can breathe you are fit almost. It takes no account of if you feel ill during the day, have headaches, etc. This is only to save money and if that means attacking the sick then they do it. They forget we all have a vote even coming to us later

And if 75% are being found fit for work, all that shows is what a lying disgrace the entire matter is. It's the way the information is being viewed and used that is the error, but then David Freud is related to Elisabeth Murdoch and no doubt also a good friend of Prof Dame Carol Black who should be arrested for crimes against humanity. To be reported to local police. Last complaint about Freud passed to London Met who buried it.

I work part time permitted hours and the stress I am under is ensuring I am 'unable' to work as many hours as I was working before the constant abuse, persecution, constant interrogations and theft. I shall also lose my car soon, so 'no' work then. After DLA removed, after (yet another) but a 5 minute Atos medical & straight after Appeal failure I was placed in the support group.

Now I am under attack yet again and my ESA is therefore under threat. Massaging that 6% statistic?
