How Prophetic..20yrs later and we are on the edge of such a crisis ourselves.
World reserve currency (dollar) failing more every day,threatening total economic collapse.
Racism and hatred between different races,religions,and political affiliations higher than ever.
Corporate Greed destroying the environment and trampling over the poor and middle class.
The very real threat of world Nuclear war between hostile nations.
all which leave a sad world for future gens as Earl as so nicely said

@nero140892 I wish they would too. However, I'll be pleased if they at least make some sort of obscure reference to the show in the new Muppets movie, seeing as how there's an evil oil tycoon and everything ....

@carmelomodica To be fair, it's not a kids' series. It was, at most, a "family" series. Adults were always supposed to be the main audience.
