  • Those Ramen Noodles have 770mg of sodium!! Yikes!

  • @USFA45LC The way I make Ramen Noodles, I only use half the seasoning, so roughly half the sodium. And as long as you stay hydrated, sodium isn't too bad for you.

  • you can have 7 years of food easy

just learn to save seeds and keep them in a box till you need them

  • @blacktacticalninja I see your point, but there is another problem, in MN winter is longer than summer, and it is difficult to store fruits and veggies without electricity. I know, I know... canning and all that, but that is more than just having seeds. And if you do the numbers on how many cans you would need for just one person... it's expensive and cumbersome. Don't get me wrong. If you can buy and store hundreds of jars for your family, do it. It's just not an option for a lot of people.

  • @dragonlance1121 Thanks for the comment by the way. God bless.

  • ramen noodles can also be ate without any water jus a little crunchy is all!! this way you could save more water to drink even though you would probly drink the broth anyway.. dont forget if you are going to hunt you will need to clean your knives of blood with boiling water or rubbing alcohol and rinsed with water. water in key item then food but without both theres no hope ..Thanks for the video. oh and if hunting salt keeps meet fresh a little longer if you cant keep it cold

  • @USpatriot88 Thanks for the comment, AS for your boiling water or alcohol being necessary to clean a knife, I would have to disagree. I have found fire works quite well.

  • Great suggestion. I was starved at the refugee camp, and rice and noodle were best things available. Thanks

  • @rustytool100 Hello!!!

  • Here's a thought...! I garden because I have the property to do so. But for those who can't garden... I also buy the large bags of frozen veggies. I built my own dehydrator, but a store bought works well too. I dehydrate the frozen vegetables to "bone dry" and vac-U-seal in jars & bags. They are good to re-hydrate in the ramen noodles or in rice. Twice a month I add large bags of frozen veggies, as I can afford, to the cart and bring home to dehydrate for emergencies.....!

  • Nice video, good advice.

    Pretty cheap stuff.

    Thank you

  • Good advise. Rice, noodles, beans and if there's any $ left, Spam.

  • Thanks bro

  • Great vid.

  • Thanks for the helpful info. I would add that ramen, rice and canned goods are much cheaper at Aldi's. If there is one near you it is the best place to stock up. Also about the ramen having so much sodium, I don't use the flavoring packet at all. I season it with onion powder, garlic powder, etc. but that's not really the point. Like the man said, this isn't about taste, what you like or what has the best nutritional value. This is about not starving to death.

  • can you advise a good source i can learn all about foods storage and crisis planning pls
