@david17071966 yes my friend, but, it is still called m16... a2 and m4 are the versions, like for example the a1 of the vietnam war, it is still m16.... but you are right, the buttstock isnt the only difference..

@zoipaschou If you read the lower reciever it doesn't say M16, M4. It's one or the other. Yes, they are related, but not the same. The upper reciever is different on them, the M4 being shorter, the lower recievers are the same except for the buttstock.

@david17071966 it is the colt m16 m4, the the full butt stock version is the colt m16 a2....

@NygaardBushcraft consider the fact America supplies all their arms, its little wonder they use the M16. Infact Israel has the 2nd largest fleet of F16 fighter jets in the world as well. Plus who know what kind of nukes they have

@TraceurMeeka Obviously, yes I do with 22 years in the US Army. An M16 is much longer with a full butt stock. Research it yourself if you don't believe me. This series is full of mistakes.

I am a little surprised they use M16's... I thought the Galil Golana was the preferred rifle of IDF... well I suppose you learn new every day :)
