I was reading these comments, and I was wondering why she was reading from a book, and hoping it was just a dress rehersal. But if she was taking over a part, thats wonderful on her part. She has a beautiful voice.

Secret Garden must have this curse or something... because in our producition of it, about an hour before curtain, the guy who... (GAH! I can't remember his name!) that sings "Wick" was like SUPER sick and our accompianist had to play the old gardener and the old gardener had to play the guy singing "Wick"... Crazy situations in the theater! Haha

My high school doesn't do understudies and if someone gets sick we have to basically pull a bum off the street and give them a script.

The show must go on, eh?

I have to give full credit to this girl. This is a difficult show to do under the BEST of circumstances. I know I played Dicken some years ago. And besides the character Lily loved books as well as the garden so it could have easily been excused with an in character reason too. Well done, great voices. Thank you for sharing and can't wait to see more.

great job! We're a professional acting company and we got hit with that flu as well - AND one of the understudies got called in at the last minute, luckily was able to disguise the script, but hey! you do what you can and she (the actress/make-up artist) did it beautifully!
