  • Looks like it was made in a week.

  • This did not do justice to the C64. The Gfx are some of the worse i have seen.

  • Mr. Hankie.....yeah.........!

  • The tunes always sounds cool on the C64, although the Amiga's are still the best.

  • @nicholasthetaylor - At the end of the day the Amiga 500 had a better sound chip than the megadrive full stop despite being the slightly older machine - but the console mags and megadrive owners of the day in the early 90's were too gutless to admit... People used to slag off the amiga against the 16 bit consoles so i'm sticking up for the Amiga. So they can get lost...

  • @retronostalgic One thing aspect of the Megadrive that I didn't like was that the soundchip was such that many games shared similar, often weird, instruments. It certainly detracted from a game's unique identity a lot

  • @nicholasthetaylor actually i reckon this is pretty good all round for the 64. what iwas saying though is that i was never a megadrive fan as i didn't like its (in my Opinion) ropey sound. I think the Amiga sounded quite a bit better and more professional...

  • @retronostalgic I had brilliant music like Last Ninja Remix, Dynamix and Double Dragon in my head when I made that comment. The SID was an awesome soundchip and I think Robocod music didn't sound very good by C64 standards. Come to think of it, The sprites were a bit rubbish too

  • @nicholasthetaylor - this version sounds good for the C64 but i was never a megadrive fan as i didn't likes its sound...
