A Nazi style check point has been set up inside the USA for the sole purpose of violating the 4th amendment rights of US citizens. Mexico is the USA's 3rd largest oil supplier. We have an agreement with them, If we want their oil, we keep our borders porous. Immigration has a Catch and Release program for illegals which allows the vast majority of Mexican and other nationals caught crossing our borders illegally, to go free, some of which have been terrorist.

The Border Patrol isn't looking for illegals or even drugs. They are stopping US citizens on internal roads for one purpose only, conditioning us to voluntarily giving up our civil rights.

Welcome to Police State USA. The story on how the border patrol is violating the rights of US citizens and disregarding the US Constitution.

Remember that this is not at the border and the Border Patrol are not police officers. They do not have the jurisdiction or authority to enforce local, state city or traffic laws. Some have even been found to be illegal aliens associated with drug cartels and the CIA.

Obama: "We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force (Police) that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. I have no intention of closing the borders until congress comes up with a comprehensive immigration policy ". Obama wants a civilian security force as powerful and as well-funded as the Department of Defense. Would that include giving these cops automatic rifles, helicopters, and missile launchers? Will the uniforms be brown? And what badge/swastika will they wear?

To just let him search could be one of the biggest mistakes of your life. You dont know what he may find or claim to find. And hes not even a police officer.

@DanceRooster Well cops aren't clairvoyant, they can only follow the indicators. This apparent evasion was grounds for Reasonable Suspicion to temporarily Detain them, this is all totally by the book. With probable cause they have the authority to search your car whether you recognise or deny that. Sure, plead the 5th but wilful ignorance won't stop it.

SCOTUS recognises you DO have to at least identify yourself.

Be grateful for these rights, nothing like them over here in UK.

No need to, I think. These are suspicionless stops:

Agents cannot search without the same probable cause needed to obtain a warrant.

@DanceRooster Unfortunatly Mr. Rooster, the more you and millions of other people yell about a Socialist government, the more it destablizes society which could result in a civil war. I have met quite a few people that do what you do and most of their "proof" I am able to dispel. Now if this agent does illegally search the vehicle without probable cause, file a complaint and settle it in court, the way you should,That is how case law is made IE Miranda. Arguing with the officer, will not work,

@DanceRooster Also you should go look up police procedures and what constitutes as an investigative stop. Also look up what could happen to an officer if he violates the 4th amendment. Also look up the law of RDO which is resist deter, obstruct an officer from his duties which this passenger was on the borderline of doing. Also keep in mind the agent started asking the owner of the vehicle to search the car which completely overules the passenger. So ya, the governments really out to get us.

That cop was more than patient. If it were me after 3 minutes, I'd rip him out the car. This guy spent ten. The man had something to hide obviously or else he would not be giving the officer a hard time. He HAD to do his job. Whats this guy, a fucking idiot? And he also LIED to the cop to try to get off. Cheater and you failed!

@DanceRooster Alright hows this for you, by blowing the checkpoint and ignoring the agent it gave the agents reasonable suspicion to make an investigative stop. The Agents did not violate any 4th amendment rights because they did not search the vehicle (as far as we know) and were asking to search the vehicle. They can spend aprox. 2-20minutes on an investigative stop to try and find probable cause to search the vehicle. If they found it or not, we do not know. No rights were violated here.

@DanceRooster He ran the check point and then didn't cooperate with the officer. The officer's job is to stop people like that and make sure they are not criminals. Cooperating with him would have been easy and simple. What is it exactly that the idiot in the car was trying to defend? His LIBERTY???

@Treblaine If he did not violate any laws he had no business being stopped. You always answer a question with a question when dealing with the police. Go watch the Antiterrorist videos on dealing with the police. You never give an answer and never say you understand. Understand means you are standing under his authority. Citizens have primary authority over the police until they relinquish it.
