that first ditty you played sounded amazing... perfect tone for dreamy fingerpicking progressions like that. Long live the Tele!

Where can i buy one like this?? In blue??

Nice sound. However, my brand new Epiphone amp is buzzing. Is this common? Should it happen?

I am considering the same Tele (Mexican), you obviously give it thumbs up, right?
My YT videos showcase the Strats - American, Custom and SRV. Have a listen

hmm well I found the sustain and the clarity of the pu's were outstanding on my jap '62 re-issue. For the money they are a great guitar, just depends on what kind of tone ur after but I can play melodic love songs to full on distortion power chords.. so many moods Love it!!

fo sho jappo quality is great.
Funny you say that. When I was in LA recently, I was trying out distortion pedals at Sam Ash. They gave me a Mexican Tele to use for this and I have to say - I was very pleasantly surprised. It's a solid guitar. Very nice to play. I found the pick-ups sounded a bit thin for my liking but over-all, I thought it was worth the money. What I found about my Japanese Tele is that it sounded bang-on vintage right out of the box. It's like going back in time - both in sound and feel.
