The major assumption is that black music is bad. This is not supported by the Bible, Ellen G White, any form of serious science. Not supported by the SDA Church in practice although there is an unfortunate refernece to black in a document. When there is a similar analysis of european music, then this can be taken sefriously. It just reminds me of where the black applicant gets scrutinised to the nth degree while white counterparts are assumed to be ok and go onto the next stage...

how can a bad tree give good fruit? if something is bad at the core - rap, rock, pop music then this is not possible to do good with that. whatever you say about the way we have to approach especially young people - Jesus made Paul blind on his way to damascus... that wasn't nice and gentle way of telling him he was wrong.

Amen! We are called NOT to be conformed to this world; the narrow way is for me by Jesus' strength only! I pray that God's people, especially us young individuals, would not be lost in the ways of this world. Glory be to God for the people who have the courage and strength of Spirit to say it is not okay; I am not okay with the ways of this world! Please Lord, let Your strength and conviction be with us.
