-I'm back again-.In this video i will show you today, how you can clean a tape from old audio cassettes,to prevent dirty heads from them. That can be very useful if you want to listening or digitise a (very) old forgotten cassette tape with great content,WITHOUT abrasion on the heads. That cause some of older audio cassettes.Especially very old Low Noise ferric tapes and some old chrome tapes (white abrasion) too .
NOTE: This works not on tapes they stick!! Stick audio and reel to reel tapes (shamrock) are mostly ruined, scrap. :-(
Look or skip at 10:30 for a little preview, what awesome unit i show you in the next time!!

  • I could be wrong, but I would guess that handling of tape would require white cotton gloves, or something that would prevent oils from getting onto the tape. Oily residue attracts dust that would be then harder to remove. This is why you're not supposed to touch vinyl LPs.

  • @garyspong Yes,thats would be best. But i wash always my hands before i do such repairs.

  • 6:43 Stupid Focus.. LOL

  • @musikdoktor Yes,it's stupid,because the focus setting is automatic :( It's just a Logitech webcam.

  • My dad has a Nakamichi 581.

  • @The1970sInfatuate Ah,thats the same 3head one like mine,but couriously,without a tape monitor switch.... A really good cassette-deck!!
