@kyledubrule dont forget the spiderman movies they were the most successful marvel movies of all time,those wasnt the first marvel movies,but those were the ones that made hero movies become more popular and successful,ironman,hulk or blade will not have as much impact as the spideys movies had

True, but the point is swearing makes sense in the comics you pointed out like Kick Ass, etc. Likewise, I can see Superman not swearing but Batman not swearing is FAR less believable, and again in their mainline univere NONE of DC villians ranging from the top guy to the lowly miscreant ever curse (that I have seen), and that is totally not believable.

yes but certain characters have certain content like you'll see ghost rider, punisher and blade swear but you will never see spiderman or mister fantastic swear. the same goes for villains like shocker and electro and mobsters will swear but villains like magneto or dr. doom wont

Additionally, adults can have conversations without cursing but again it is unbelievable dialogue amongst certain groups. For example, with the Punisher if the writer portrayed a bunch of Italian Mobsters or Street gang members talking amongst each and no profanity it would be very unrealistic, which again goes back to DC and all these low-life criminals they sometimes show working for the bad guys with no cursing. They'll rob you & kill you but they don't use 4 letter words. Really.

Well, people are liking Kick Ass and I think it funny like if Tarantino was writing comics, but regardless of that 1) Again, I don't see a bunch of vulgarity in Marvel out of context & 2) yeah Super-man may not get hurt, but Batman is a normal human and if he got seriously hurt I think like most people he would swear. Most people who are injured and in trauma but still conscious say all sort of crap they normally wouldn't.

yes but if you swear so much it just takes you out of the story like WANTED or KICK-ASS and believe it or not adults can have an interesting conversation without vulgarity lets say your right why wouldn't superman swear when he gets punched or when batman gets hurt why because there not 14 year old punks

I might add that in the FEW mainline DC title I've read the lack of profanity in certain area has bothered me. Take the Joker for example. Here you have a guy (the Joker) is homicidal, chaotic, socio-path & occasionally works with gangs of miscreant criminal low-life minions, but none of them ever utter a curse word. The Joker might kill you. He might torture you. He may even try to engage in genocide, but you'll never hear him say shit.  Come on now. A little verisimilitude goes a long way.

The logo banner for the Heroic Age look very childish. Also, I don't know what Marvel comics you have been reading with all this "vulgarity" in it, but unless you are talking about the MAX line and a few T+ rated titles like X-Force, some DP, etc. I haven't really seen it, and even with those titles I think they use the vulgarity appropriately. I mean, the Punisher fights various mob groups. A lot of mob figures and criminals do use profanity in their dialogue so it makes sense in context.

yes but just because it says heroic age doesn't mean its childish or wont be interesting all the heroic age is, is the superheroes back on top and fantastic four isn't violent or have vulgarity it isn't "DARKER" but its one of marvels best books right now. my point was without the movies marvel wouldn't be as big as they are now JOE brags about sales but x-men in the 90's sold 12 million copies but it was a bad comic. and i like darker/mature stories i just dont like vulgar ones = MARK MILLER!

Without music videos a lot of musicians wouldn't sell as well. What is your point? Marvel sales have increased due to shows like Blade, Iron Man, & the Hulk. It should be noted that at least two of these Blade and Iron Man are very "Unheroic Age" in the movies, and even the Hulk was darker. Likewise while I don't read DC comics I know DC has had film success with the Dark Knight moreso than they've had w/ happy chaps like Super-Man. I guess people like dark which Heroic Age is not.
