Hitler was evil, Stalin was evil, Ted Bundy was evil... people who buy games for their kids are slightly negligent at best. Surely the people who would be more tempted to become a mass murderer from playing video games would be just as effected by a discriptive passage from a book which involves violence.
This panel is irrelevant.

does anyone else think the second caller's son is a bit disturbed?
-
the kid just tuned in to a teen
-
I say we ban paintballing!!!! same difference as cod :P
-
Yeah lets give the kid crack too, because all his friends are doing it!

5:22 Is this woman a retard? So the people playing games want to play games may want to talk about these games. Therefore the kid is left out because he has no idea what they are talking about thus being left out. Can she not see that too? But this discussion is a joke. If you can't tell what is real and what is not then you shouldn't even be kept with the public, but kept in an asylum!

My mid to late teen era was tha hardest part of my life so far. I was bullied, beaten up and on top of it all I have had a serious anger problem.
I would say I owe it to both violent video games and my punch bag that I made it through with out ever hurting myself or anyone else.
I think violent apeal to violent people the way cannabis apeals to lazy people but it can not be held responsable for acts of violence.

They're not realistic at all. I don't think the games themselves monger that behaviour, I think it's the attitude that surrounds them or comes with them. When people play Halo it's all "Headshot! Teabag!" "Agh, you bastard" "Fucker! I'll kill you!" it's because it pits people against eachother like animals, rather than games that promote more co-operation.

They watched the airport scene out of context like every media outlet in the world, they should not disscuss the matter in hand without knowing what is happening in the scene and what is happening in the story
-
the people that are copying these games need to be locked up as they obviously have some form of underlying problems
the laddy on line 2 is so stupid..he was 14..hello hormones!!

This debate is very silly. I've watched horror movies since I was a 9 or something as well and these also never affected how I acted or grew up. It's not really difficult unless you already have some serious underlying issues that you will copy a game. Even kids know the difference!
