Do games like this exist anymore? I'm not talking adventure/RPG. I mean this exact design; just with better graphics and full voice acting/narrating.

Not too puzzly like Myst either.

I doubt it. There's a whole community of people making fan-based games, but most of them don't have voice acting. The Chzo Mythos games come to mind as popular recent examples.

I have very clear memories of forgetting to release the will o wisps. When the sun rises you hear a tiny cry as they die.

Wow, you actually got to fight the Cernovy. I've been trying for about 2 days now to get to that fight but every time I try to get into the battle the game gives me some Error 52 type of thing. I've researched all over google and pretty much found nothing but posts from ~2004.

Any clue on how to fix this thing, and/or how you got it to work for you? If I could get past this part then I'd be one happy camper.

If you don't release the Will o' Wisps in the swamp by the time the sun rises, they die and you lose a ton of honor.
