I first found out about this game in 1998 but I've never played it until two days ago. I just finished it last night.Definitely worth it even after 14 years!

@hungsolow123 I got both of those without a guide. What stumped me for AGES was building the light bridges. I never figured you had to hold the switch down to make them go. Gnagh!

Epic story, epic atmosphere, excellent voice overs (for its time) but some of the worst illogical and random puzzles ever. The scene involving the tomb is by far one of the worst puzzles I've ever solved. I remember solving it as a kid and just being blown away at the stupidity. The turtle-bomb is also somewhat out of nowhere too.

Poor Brink; during the adventure he dies twice, becomes a life crystal junkie, has his hand saw off and in the end turns into an old man :/

How true! We are a young race. We have so much to learn. Why do we fight so much among ourselves. Why would any foreign species want to contact us being the way we are? This ending just goes to show that everyone has the ability to distinguish what is right and wrong, regardless of background. If only we could stop trying to separate something that should be left as one. That being the human race.

....and then the cristalship crashed xD
This was the most epic game I played as a kid - I just replayed it last night from start to finish - still just as awesome. Deep and engaging, they simply do not make games like this anymore. A full 5/5 from me.

This ending tears me up. The graphics may clash, the acting may feel wooden....but the story and atmosphere is beautiful.
