WTS Lincoln Cathedral War Sequence

East Midlands cultural tourism body EMPACT commissioned Watch This Space to create this series of performance tours in the world famous Cathedral in Lincoln. Focusing on the human side of the cathedrals' past and present, the Watch This Space team took audiences on a different kind of pilgrimage. Encountering live performance, creative lighting, slide and video projections and new music, each group of Watch This Space pilgrims filed up the winding staircase in the East wing roof area, seldom available for public viewing. Through the performance and audio tour they saw, heard and experienced the buildings' different personas and varied historical significance, before returning gently to the ground floor.
