@geertdehoux Er meint sicherlich das gemäßigte Tempo von Gilels/Masur, in Verbindung mit der damit verbundenen etwas schwereren 'romantischeren', russischen? Ausdrucksintensität, im Vergleich z.B. zu Ingrid Haebler, die das Konzert fließender und gemäßigter im Ausdruck im Sinne der Wiener Klassik spielt: Form und Inhalt stehen mehr im Gleichgewicht zueinander!

I enjoyed this very much for the fine proffesionalism from all the musicians, and the gracious smile from Kurt Masur
to Emil Gilels at the end , which made for a smooth performance, the sound quality
was superb :) ...
