This footage taken on the 22nd of November 2008 at Katoomba in the Blue Mountains - two weeks before the official start of the Australian Summer. Just days before, the temperature was in the 30's centigrade - then on the 22nd - after a warm start to the day down to 3 degrees - and with it sleet, hail and then plenty of snow. On the Sunday still cold and high winds. This type of weather is more typical for August in this area. All good fun and just typical of the Blue Mountains where it's possible to get every season in one day.
I remember that day only to well, I heard someone mumble it's snowing, I thought this time of the year? Right. We stopped overnight at the Gearin Hotel, I think I spelled it right
