you're right, mostly, about the part about the seduction, but it was BEFORE the kill, since most of them died after the kill, but I'm not sure what herbs they were seduced with, since they woke up in the gardens, which was the signal that they were to be the killer. Also, the gardens implemented "Paradise", or where they would go after they died.
