This 4 goal directional possession game features the Philadelphia Union U17s and is conducted by Philadelphia Union assistant coach John Hackworth.

The game is played with 10 players on a 30x40 yard playing area. Two teams play 4v4 to two goals on each side, with 1 player from each team outside the area. The team in possession can play to the player on the outside to make a numbers up, 5v4. As soon as possession is lost, the same player must drop off the field again.

  • @fcbarca4444 their sixteen dude

  • Dear Union and Hackworth

Just from observing the video for a few minutes, I can see you're already falling into the age old American trap of picking athletes instead of soccer players. You have to pick players with INTELLIGENCE and TECHNIQUE in order to play a possession game. Half of these kids don't have the intelligence to maintain possession. They just try to showboat.

Please stop picking athletes and pick soccer players with technique and brains AND THEN mold them into athletes later

  • @AjaxAmsterdam34 This the academy's first year in existence. You think Ajax's academy were world beaters in their first year?
