Idler's Dream - Oasis - Piano Instruction / By Ear

odd timing on this one, don't know the words, music done by ear, had a cheat sheet. hopefully someone knows the song better can improve upon this version and upload to youtube, because it is a nice little song.

the 4 harmonies at the end (shangra la) are Fmaj/Bmaj/F,F#/F,D/Eb,E. so instead of playing the Fmaj, Dmaj with F# bass, to incorporate the harmonies at the end, i just substituted some of the notes they sing, and you can pull this off by playing chords with those notes I just mentioned in them. There are alot of ways to do it. You can play the first F as C Eb F A, or A C Eb F, or like i did in the video GACF. for the second chord, you can play a D major with an F# bass note, or A C E F# , A C D F#, A C F# - and A D E F# sounds great. all work and their harmonies do slightly change so work with those chords. again, i don't have sheet music but these are the notes i saw in my head when i listened to it. Unless i know the song well and the words by heart, I play the easiest way possible. Unfortunately here I was worrying about the lyrics the whole time.

Please can you tell me the notes to play this. Im new but i got the first bit as c, f, a, c, f, a, c, f, c, f, a sharp (i think thats what it is) c, f, a sharp, c, f, c, f, e, c, f, e, c, e, c, f, e, c, f, e, c, e But then after that im stumpped so any help is greatly apreciated.

Well.. The sound is a bit confusing, but I think it's a good cover, even if I didn't hear it =D nice song, really, I love it. You're great.

excellent stuff mate,amazing song cant find sheet music for it anywhere. you would be my all time hero if you did a youtube tutorial for this, i loose you when you get into the the chords but you seem to have it nailed... seriously if u did it'd be unreal!!

hey, do you think you could send me some tabs or notes or something, i'd really love to be able to play this, and 5 stars by the way, this is probably really difficult to sing and play together, and i assume this is you? if so you really sound good, a lot like noel.
