Can't see much due to hairy hand and huge thumb.
Get a flat piece of wood, needle nose vise grip.
Clamp soldering piece lightly and have at it.
Cost, vice grip already in tool box, piece of wood in scrap pile.
Cost -Free.

Using this tool was a dream. It was easy and my soldered connectors came out clean as can be. I didn't even burn a finger. I soldered Deans and multiple bullet sizes with ease and I it arrived a day after I ordered it, couldn't ask for better service. Thanks!
