I am more than happy to help out another artist....I believe in ~paying it forward~

    ~passing it on~....~wink~

I sincerely would like to thank all my subscribers, commentators and followers who watch my work! feedback is always a reward!

I have some new software that I have to figure out to create new videos for y'all...keep hanging in there and soon I will have something new to show!

  • @22bal Thankyou so much for this tip, it really helped make the "black" stripes of my tiger pop!

  • yep, one doesn't use black..instead mix the dark, a very nice dark is made with

    1/3 alizarin

    1/3 raw umber

1/3 french ultramarine, this creates a very nice rich dark.

another way is not to keep a lighter value, lay on dark hairs but not block in the whole of the middle of the spot...because I glaze, I can paint till I feel its right, the details arnt showing up as well as I wish in the video!

  • I've noticed with most wildlife painters like Eric Wilson and Jason Morgan, that the black spots just end up looking like holes, while the rest of the fur is done in incredible detail, the black holes of fur I have not myself been able to turn into 3-D. Any ideas?

    thank you so much!...

I will be sharing a few new ones soon!!
