I shot this 200-degree panorama at sunrise from the summit of 14,082-foot Windom Peak, in the San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado, a part of the Weminuche Wilderness. The panorama starts on the left with the full moon setting over Chicago Basin, extends past Mt. Eolus and Sunlight Peak (two Fourteeners) and ends with the sun rising over Vallecito Creek. To make the video, I started with a large still image created by stitching together six 21-megapixel images. I then hired a professional video editor, Jeff Maus, in Carbondale, Colorado, to bring the still image into Adobe After Effects where he created the pans and zooms to produce the final piece. I'm glad you liked the shot! As I described in more detail in the description pane below the video, I shot eight 21-megapixel images and stitched them together.
