i absolutely loooove you guys, i saw you at the folk club in Looe, Cornwall, U.K in.... i guess...'82 ish. we had a drink at the bar after.. i was wearing a Souixe City tee shirt, Bill asked if i had been to Arizona, no i hadn't., but i have to say that your music has stayed with me all of these years and i am now a bodhran player in an irish band here in new zealand. have looked for you on the net many times...and at last there you are. many, many thanks for much inspiration

That is really sad news! I did not know.
I only ever heard Jim play once, at Matlock in the early '90s. In a sound-check, on guitar, he played the best version of Bob Franke's "Hard Love" I have ever heard. My sympathies to all who knew him well.
