Too bad people don't yet understand the major impact of the Alto.
We should totally hack a windows 7 Alto version. And instead of the CPU unit it can actually have a usb-powered beer fridge :), heck i would even keep the chord-set and use it for gaming shortcuts.

Beautifully designed machine, great VDU (perfect for spreadsheet/letter work), which is only coming into use again now. Well done Douglas Engebart and Xerox. Very smart concept and design layout for 1970-1973. The 'Chord-Set' though was never meant to be, and was a shit to use/learn! (from what I understand of users comments)
