She has excellent voice, she is nice. She sings the world hits very well I like her. However I think for the succes it is important good song writers like the ABBA 2 male members were.

Yes, she's a great talent with apparent international appeal . It's unclear (to me) why she /her managers didn't capitalize on that. fact early on in her career. I'm sure there was a definite reason. Maybe one day she will reveal that story.

I think I watched Chance.Hikaru Utada seems she's targeting U.S. music industry,so not too far now that she's getting U.S.hits:) I like the way of Hikaru Nishida sings,but it's different from the tatse of the people buy records in Japan.Hikaru-chan is now pregnant for her second child:)

When I first heard her speak English in 1993 in a drama called Chance, I was always hoping she would at least cross over to at least one American film or have some hit single in America. It was never to be. When I heard Hikaru-san sing Connie Francis' "Where the boys are" I thought she was terrific. So both Ms. Nishida and Ms. Utada speak fluent English and yet neither of them ever had any U.S. hits. Too bad.

She's in Japan,married and gave a birth years ago. She sometimes is on a cover of motherhood magazine in Japan. She was brought up in California,and she has been very cute and a nice woman singer/actress,I used be a huge fan of her:D As I am female,she's so nice!
