  • Charlie was not in the band when this video was shot. There is no actual throat singing going on here, just humming trying to sound like throat singing.

  • This is the original version. Bastard Fairies is the cover.

  • Those signs on the backdrop are all music venues in Austin. Where was this recorded? It doesn't look familiar. Is this in Austin? I'll have to watch it again.

  • This was shot at the Texas Union THeater in Austin. The bakdrop was designed just for this show.

  • whose song is this originally? I love this version!

  • this is the original version, written by the two men singing and another guy named Neal.

  • A.S.S? I've been into these guys for years and Chrintine said the first started to play together on Asylum St. in Austin TX and a spanker is an old term for an acoustic performer it is only by chance that it spells ass

  • I started a conversation with someone on OkCupid, and at the end of her second message to me, she asked me "Where do your thoughts and feelings lie in terms of animal rights? Especially research related?" I scanned her profile and publicly answered questions, but couldn't find any indication of her position on the issue... so I linked her to this song.
