After getting the MCPX 3n1 board from Ebay, and three 3usd digital cyclic servos from HobbyKing, I started working on my first AS3X flybarless project for a standard 3S-powered CP heli. The cyclic servos connection board (servo harness) is used to splice the 5v supply from the ESC to the red and black wires of each cyclic servo and to the power cables of the MCPX board. 2 1N4004 diodes are placed on the power cables to reduce the power supply to 4.3V for the MCPX board. A separate RX is still required for the rudder, gyro gain and throttle controls. For more info, check out Scott's thread "
