Frank & Jesse James are overestimated by most historians. The early robberies were committed by Confederate Guerrilla's, hardened veterans of the war.
Jesse was a 20 year old who had not been a leader, the type of men who pulled these robberies were. If the James' were there, their role would have been minor.

The craziest outlaw of all time was not Jesse James or Billy the Kid. It was James "Deacon" Miller ! Research that guy and you will be amazed! I will give my second vote to Wesley Hardin.

hi, im an old fuck on a horse. I think I'm a cowboy, of course i'm not a cowboy because I don't smoke. Listen to me as I talk about things I know nothing about! More power to the outlaws! The world could learn a lesson from these great american times.

Better at what exactly? Killing? Nope -- especially if you count the raids in Missouri with Bloody Bill. Better at robbing? Nope. That goes without saying. Meaner? Nope. Jesse was Bipolar. Tougher? Nope. Again his anger and his strength though his robberies. Brand, go do your homework.

Jesse James and Billy the Kid? You guys are arguing over 2 different outlaws in two different areas of the country. Both have obviously done something to be remembered for a 100 years plus. SHUT UP MORONS. Thanks for posting.
