"Marriage is defined in the church"--Since when? In ancient Greece and Rome, marriage was a civil affair, blessed by priests, yes, but still civil in nature to take care of legal obligations and property rights. The same thing applies today with marriages done by Justices of the Peace, sea captains and others authorized to conduct them. Religion and churches do not have to be involved at all for the marriage to be fully valid and legally binding.
I think you've completely missed Romans 12. It is not the goal of Christians to apply their church beliefs to the nation. If so, then you MUST allow Muslims the same liberty for the country including polygamy. Stay focused on your church.
Do you believe in divorce? Yes or no?
Do you believe that folks should work on the Sabbath? Yes or no? (and if you shop at any stores that do, aren't you supporting a sinful lifestyle?)
What?!! Tax Breaks?! I can't even understand a word this kid is saying. This is a terribly incohereant and inarticulate arguement. Marriage is a civil institution and not defined by the Christian church. If it were there wouldn't be such a thing as marriage among two people of any other religion or between people who are agnostic or atheist. In all honesty there really isn't a valid argument of any kind against gay marriage. Other than it makes some people uncomfortable. To that, so what
the church, who in the hell wants to get married in a church, I live in San Diego, we got beaches and parks that are alot better than churches........................this guy is a tool
For an insightful look at the traditional, biblical marriage that the supporters of Propostion 8 are trying to protect, be sure to see:

Who are you to say that church and state should be seperated? Being gay is not a choice. There ARE gay people in the world. GET OVER IT.
