I got a newer version and it works fine now
-
it works fine on mine

I've tried blender but it does'nt work right on an intel based mac. Nice job. I guess ed209 is now on the naughty list.

In edit mode, ctrl-n might fix some of the glitches by "recalculating normals outside". Either that, or some parts of the meshes are doubled up. Anyways, nice for a first! Keep on blending! :)

really? thats weird. you went to blender org and downloaded the latest version? I ran mine on windows vista, and even with all it's incompatibility issues, it still worked fine. have you deleted any important windows files? just wondering. there's also an optional download link on blender org which gives you a folder with the whole program in it including the executable file blender exe i dunno if they still have that up, but try anyway.

yeah, im a newbie. there are a few things glitchy, for example, didn't you notice the floating upside-down snowmen?
