As if she could read minds, Rylee bounced back over to give him something.
"Here- I think you'll be needing this. Give me time to shower and such. Meet you around 7 in your lobby?"
"Sounds good." Nick said as he took the paper holding her number.
"Hotel?" she inquired.
"Sheraton Moana."
Rylee burst out laughing.
"What?"
"I'm sorry, it was just-never mind. Well, see you at 7." She smiled and trotted away.
6:15 pm Rylee's Home
"M'lissa, hurry up!" Rylee shouted as she pounded the bathroom door.
"Hold on!" Her older sister, Melissa, shouted back.
After a couple minutes, Melissa emerged from the bathroom.
"How long does it take for you to get ready? Jeez!" Rylee complained.
"I'm sorry. I just didnt want to look like you." Her sister spat.
"You just wasted time in there because you looked nothing like me from the start." Rylee said coolly.
"Why are you even rushing?"
"I'm meeting some guys-and a girl- to show them around." Rylee said as she started the water for the shower.
"And they are?" Her sister asked from the doorway.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" And with that, Rylee shut the door and took a shower.
7 minutes later, she came out wrapped in her towel. She didn't know what to wear! This was a first. She usually just picked out anything comfortable but now she was utterly confused! She was nervous. Should she wear something nice? It's not a date or anything but it would look bad to wear her running look: soccer shorts, t-shirt, and running shoes. She planned on running there but she didn't want to look sweaty and gross. She could wear jeans and a baseball tee. Yea, that looked sensible. She put on her favorite pair of shoes- her beat up, green Chuck Taylor high tops- and went out the door. (she took the bus)
With Nick 6:30
"Joe, are you ready?" Nick called from the mirror, where he was touching up.
"Hold on, I'm almost done." Joe called back.
Kevin and Maya walked in.
"Oh good; you're wearing something not Jonas Brother-y." He said to Kevin. "And Maya, youre growing up to fast." He put her in a head lock.
"You just ruined my hair!" She complained. Kevin and Nick laughed. The three of them watched TV while they waited for Joe.
"Joe, its 6:50! Are you ready yet?!" Kevin called, impatient.
"Ready." Joe came out smelling like a cologne catalog, dressed in black skinny jeans and a white muscle shirt. Nick rolled his eyes.
"You know, Joe, people here do realize that we are the Jonas Brothers and there are some major fans that might chase us. We want to blend in so we can enjoy our time." Nick said, slightly disgusted at how Joe was trying to impress Rylee.
"I'll wear sunglasses and a beanie. Sound good?" Joe grabbed the things out of his suitcase.
"She might be here already." Nick mumbled, irritated. They told their parents and the others good bye and headed for the lobby.
