Tribute to ALL the Heroes of Her Majesty's Armed Forces past and present.
In the hope the UK Government will grant them a National Defence Medal as all other Western nations already do.

yep gotta agree with you. my nephew just returned from afghan on thursday after a 7 month tour of duty. my daughter has joined waiting to hear of dates.Dont want her to go but she has mind of her own.hate to see news and footage of coffins with union flags.

Why am I and other British ex servicemen being given special treatment... IE the New Zealanders and Australians get a NDM , Why not me and others

What a fantastic video! Lets hope the politicians watch this and then they might get some idea what it is like, but, of course, seeing as none of them have ever served or worn the cloth they won't have a clue will they?.
Brown and the rest of his misearble crew should hang there heads in shame.

Fantastic video and totally just!! All our soldiers are heroes wether they fight in Afghan or guard the base and look after the families left at home. The goverment should hang their heads in shame. Come on your majesty you approved the cross now sort out this NDM issue!!!!

Please Tweet the video if you can. Our military having been doing a job for decades, too many seem to have no memory of the constant threat of the IRA and how it affected day the day to life of the ordinary squaddie. Our troops are celebrated today, and rightly so, but not so long ago we were forced to disguise that fact we served our Country or else chance becoming yet another target.

18th September 2010, the LibDem Party make the awarding of the NDM a policy.
This means that the 3rd & 4th (UKIP) biggest political parties in the UK now support the concept. When will the big 2 step up?
