Controversial Climate Skeptic Visits Auckland

One of the world's most prominent, and controversial, climate change skeptics, has been in New Zealand this week. Lord Christopher Monckton, the 3rd Viscount of Brenchley, is here as part of a world lecture tour promoting climate change denial. Reporter Benedict Collins met Christopher Monckton in Auckland, and while the Viscount might not believe in global warming, it didn't take long for the interview to heat up...

Good on ya! Monckton's only argument is one involving volume and his eyes to shut people down. Absolute joke of a man, who's arguments can be picked to pieces as he deliberatley distorts, misrepresents, misinterprets and misleads anyone he comes into contact with. I don't wish ill on many people, though this is one man who should be stopped as he has the ability to deceive those who cannot tell fact from fiction, those who subscribe to conspiracies, and those outright deniers.

The only reason I can see that anyone would actually listen to Monckton at all is for validation of opinions they have already formulated. The man has been shown to be inaccurate or just plain wrong on so many occasions that I find it difficult to imagine people giving credit to a word that comes out of his mouth.
