Track 10 from the 2011 album Garden Window. Buy the album here! obrother.cinderblock.com It's a great album, so you should support the band by buying it. Trust me, you won't regret it.
@keithzeitler I just really don't like cymbals that have that sloshy brass sound to them. The levels on them are quite a bit higher than I would of liked, and the way the guitars distorted tones blend with them just causes them to come across as messy in a way. Don't get me wrong I love this album, I just think the cymbals were poorly done. Recording bands has also kind of turned me into an overthinking ass when it comes to sound, so that might be the real reason. haha
I love this album, but the way the cymbals where recorded drives me up the fucking wall I hate it so much. Only complaint. Beautiful band, beautiful people.
@wayfechylde3 That sounds awesome. You should raise some mayhem for me. And if anyone says anything, just be like, "What, some chick in CT possessed my body and made me do it. I swear!" I'll back you up on that. Heheh.
@TheConsistentoDDity it was at the Masquerade, so it depends, really. la dispute was pretty nuts. i think its just because lots of people dont know who o'bro is. i didi notice them getting more into it as the set went on. i'm going back to the album release show, which they're headlining, so im hoping that that show is gonna be ridiculous.
@wayfechylde3 When I saw La Dispute last year here in CT, the whole room went crazy. No one was safe. So I made sure my sneaks were safely secured to my feet. The only thing that saved me from was tripping over them while walking back to my car... That's cool, glad to hear there were people there, feeling the music and not just listening to it.
What are shows normally like there? Do people usually just stand around or does it become a bit....fun? Or does it mainly all depend on the bands?
@TheConsistentoDDity eh, it was ok. i was there, actually hahaha. they played oh charitable thief 0.0 but most people were there for thrice, me and some buds and a couple other guys were the only ones going nuts. still awesome though.
What a song......
