I installed Magic lantern on my T3i and I must say that it is better then I expected. The latest version 11.11.11 is way more stable then the one I installed on my T2i a year ago. Plus is it was much easier. Thanks for that. It just transformed my T3i into a pro camera. Well just the software not the hardware. Anyway, I did a timelapse with the magic lantern intervolometer and it worked great. No bugs, no heating up, very smooth. Also, I edited my timelapse in Premere Pro CS5 and made my timelapse slide. Good stuff man!

  • I haven't came across anyone that broke their camera after installing magic lantern. I have installed ML on 2 of my cameras (T2i and T3i) without any problem. I think the worse that can happen is your camera freezes. Then you just take out your card and battery and put them back in and restart your camera. But this is just my opinion. I think the advantages weighs more then the downfalls. Hope that helps.

  • I have a Canon 60D and would love to do this, afraid of the downfalls and bricking my new camera. Any thoughts ? Thanks.
