Saanwal (means one with a brownish, fair complexion: a term of endearment -- typically for a Baluch man, having come down from highlands, and going back with his "daachi" -- she-camel); mor muhaaraan (trurn back the reins); tati (in scorching heat) ro, ro (crying, crying) waat guzaaran (I see the pathway longingly). The woman (in the plains) singing out to her beloved Baluch: O my fair (handsome) one, [do not leave] yet; turn back the reins [of your camel]. Can't really be translated :)

Also present was Ustad Ghulam Ali and Ustad Tari Khan.

ustaad ji's range, feeling, expression, depth, and the total mastery of 'surs' is a feat one can never have enough of........it's a transcendental experience.....a spiritual ride on an emotionally charged roller coaster, astride all octaves and even beyond......love u ustaad ji.......only wish that giants like him keep on coming for our future generations....heaven forbid if we happen to be the last lucky ones to have witnessed such greatness....long live ustaad ji...

Do I see Fateh Ali Khan at 3:23? and are they all singers having a private evening together?
We are not going to have any such of these legends again. It just reminds me of several occasions when I had a chance to listen Ustad Salamat Ali Khan for hours during 1982 to 1992. He was a 'real perfectionist' as he once said about Ustad Fateh Ali Khan (marhoom, Sitar nawaz-pindi waley) while performing at Liaqat Hall-Rawalpindi on his barsi. He said, Ustad Fateh Ali "bohat Sureelay aur behtareen Laey Kaar tthey". In fact he himself was too. May Allah bless him!

@KumarTabla
thaats = concept of raag's origin & emanation, whereas tabla's sangat & theka, gat etc originates from essentially peshkara, qaidah based, of course, on gharana's regional styles. Raagas are stricltly accompanied with dhurat bilampat and relas with tehai's etc unlike
kaffi sufi kalam singing e.g this one is in sindhi bhainravi shakal, so the
theka can carry some variations including keherwa, aik taal, with swari
even jhaptal or bhajan theka as u have said earlier.
